Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star - Chapter 4 - The Ice Cream House&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;(<a href="https://www.nuclearnerds.io/story/1512/">previously</a> in the tale)

With all of them sitting down at the table, Bob started telling them about the place he was fixing up over in Aurora Gardens.  Aurora Gardens was a trailer park on the outskirts of Rachel.  No longer the only one in town, Aurora was the town’s original and Bob had bought a lot there years ago.  

“I had these old trucks that I no longer used,” Bob went on.  “and I decided to convert and combine a couple into a livable home for fun.”  Bob had seen some do-it-yourself videos online and the thought of repurposing them intrigued him.

Little Markie had been gobbling down her blueberry pancakes and glanced up, *“Ice cream trucks Uncle Bob?”* she whispered.

*“Ice cream trucks, Markie!”*  Uncle Bob nodded with a smile as Markie responded with an even bigger one.

*“I was just getting ready to rent it out.  Ginny, your timing couldn’t have been better in light of your circumstances, ”* said Uncle Bob turning back towards Ginny.

Ginny, looking down at her belly, *“It sounds wonderful Bob, we can’t thank you enough.”  

“Yes, Bob we are truly grateful,” Art followed back.

After a long pause, Ginny looked towards Markie and said, “I think you and your little sister are going to love it.”*

*“Mom…Mom….I’m going to be a big sister?!?,”* Markie whispered even louder.

*“Yes, you are sweetheart, you are,”* replied her Mom. 

After breakfast, the family gathered their few belongings and set off for their new home.  Markie ran beside Uncle Bob and looked back at her mom.  With a small nod of approval, Markie hopped up in her uncle’s truck to ride shotgun over to Aurora as her parents followed behind.  Markie played the truck’s musical jingle the whole way over until her uncle pulled up into their driveway.

*“This is really great, Bob, I can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done”* Art and Ginny said after a quick tour through the house.  Glaring towards Bob, Art caught Bob staring squarely into his eye and muttered, *“Don’t fuck it up!!!”*   &nbsp;Art got the message.

Markie loved her room the most.  It was built loft-style in the back side of the house just big enough for a bed and a small dresser.  Underneath her room was a small area and a desk, perfect for studying or reading a book.

*“I love it so much Uncle Bob,”* Markie said, giving her uncle a big squeeze.

As Uncle Bob finished showing them around, they all gave him big hugs as he walked out, and then began to unpack their things.
