I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am writing to inform you of a peculiar and deeply concerning incident that recently occurred within the confines of our newsroom. As a reporter for The Times Union, I occasionally receive unsolicited information related to ongoing criminal cases, but this particular incident stands out due to its chilling nature and potential significance.

Yesterday morning, upon arriving at my office, I discovered an envelope in my inbox. The envelope, addressed to me personally, was devoid of any return address or identifiable markings. Its contents have left me both disturbed and compelled to bring the matter to your attention.  

Inside the envelope, I found a single sheet of paper, upon which a message was handwritten in a meticulous, albeit unnerving, script.  This may be a sign that our killer is starting to get nervous and for whatever reason, has taken confidence in me.  In speaking with my editor, I am keeping the original letter and will instead transcribe its contents below.  I've also included a picture of the letter itself.

I keep on hearing the police have caught me but they wont fix me just yet. I have laughed when the look so clever and talk about being on the right track. The endless jokes about my little sister continue to give me fits.  I am down on all those who continue the mockery.  I shant quit picking them till I do get buckled.
